The following organisations are represented in Mongolia ARF, AsDB, CP, EBRD, FAO, G-77, IAEA, IBRD, ICAO, ICC, ICCt, ICFTU, ICRM, IDA, IFAD, IFC, IFRCS, ILO, IMF, IMO, Interpol, IOC, ISO, ITU, MIGA, MINURSO, MONUC, NAM, OPCW, OSCE (partner), SCO (observer), UN, UNCTAD, UNESCO, UNIDO, UPU, USAID The above organisations are present in Mongolia to aid economical, political and social development in the country. Their purpose is to assist in putting in place systems and infrastructures to promote and maintain the economic growth and maturity levels currently experienced in Mongolia. Between 1991-1993, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) executed a $2,000,000 project to provide Mongolia with advice and technical and academic training in various fields, which included law. USAID recently began a five-year $7.5 million programme to support economic and policy-making development. It also provides funding for the Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector (IRIS) and the Asia Foundation. The UNDP has recently organised a conference centred around the new democracies in the region, this conference took place in UB and the fight against corruption became its lead talking and action point. Many of those organisations contribute ugely to the economical and political as well as the social development of Mongolia.
